MICHEAL PAGE (HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER)



The Human Resources Manager has primary responsibility for Human Resources matters in Nigeria including the administration of HR programs and practices related to performance management, development of talent (national and expatriate workforce), succession planning, recruitment and selection, training, labour relations, compensation and benefits. Other responsibilities include:

-Advising managers and employees on HR programs, service changes, employment legislation, and ensure practices are consistent with Company standards,

-Encouraging skills development through evaluating staff training needs and career development plans,
-Liaising between corporate HR and site to ensure best people practices are adopted and applied,
-Creating and maintaining a committed and innovative workforce by conducting regular performance review and maintaining high visibility in the operational sites,
-Managing and administrating the hiring, the orientation, the relocation and the exit of national workforce and expatriate employees,
-Providing the HR teams with clear objectives and expectations,
-Ensuring that the administrative processes are effective and efficient,
-Participating in Occupational Health and Safety activities (Training, audits),

Requirements
With a University degree in business administration or Human Resources management, you have a minimum of 10 years experience in reputable international companies. You have the ability to work accross different levels within the organisation and with people from a range of backgrounds.
