MICROSOFT NIGERIA (PARTNER SALES EXECUTIVE)

Microsoft’s success relies on a strong and committed partner community. The Partner Sales Executive (PSE) Manager is a key member of the Microsoft Partner Sales Team (PST), managing a team of individual contributors (IC) who manage key Microsoft partners. The PSE Manager is more common in larger or mature Microsoft subsidiaries.

The Microsoft PST manages Microsoft Enterprise partners, strategically selected for their impact to Microsoft’s Corporate and Major account customer segments. The partner team is ultimately responsible to manage, align and optimize the success of the managed partner’s business, in all segments, solutions, transactions and verticals the partner serves, where Microsoft is aligned.

The PSE manages, coaches and coordinates multiple partner roles, which can include some or all; Solution, Large Account Reseller (LAR), Inside, Value Added Reseller (VAR), and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) PSEs, as well as Partner Practice Recruiters (PPR) and Partner Technology Strategist (PTS). The partner types the PSE’s team can engage with include the Solution Partner (SI), VAR and LAR.

The variety people skills and partners models the PSE is responsible to manage and grow, presents them experiences few other Microsoft roles provide. They will be required to interact at director and executive levels at customers and partners and manager and director levels at Microsoft’s business & product groups, marketing, services and account teams. The knowledge you gain as a PSE at Microsoft will allow you to grow professionally as you succeed in role, and provide wide exposure and opportunity throughout Microsoft.

Responsibilities:
Microsoft leadership - ability to lead individuals to achieve through business results and ability to communicate with C-level internal stakeholders
Sales strategy - understanding technology partner models, business strategies, accounting and market forces that influence a partner's business and sales decisions
Partner capacity building

Requirements:
Degree (MBA preferred)
8 - 10 years related experience
