Job Title: Business Development Officer


  • We are looking for an IT savvy, pleasant and competitive Business Development Officer that thrives in developing sales strategies to attract new clientele.
  • The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.


  • You must be comfortable making dozens of product/services presentations, generating interest and qualifying sales prospects.
  • “Get the sale” using various sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc)
  • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers’ needs and build productive long lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Identify interest and understand customer needs and requirements
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
  • Demonstrate and provide information on promoted products/services


  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Experience working with a CRM
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Computer use competency
  • Has keen interest in Technology and its associated products and services
  • IT Savvy
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Not Older than 28 years by 31st December, 2016
