Job Position: Account Officer

Job Location: Surulere & Trade Fair Complex – Lagos

Job Description

  1. Maintaining and reviewing financial records.
  2. Creating and processing invoices
  3. Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
  4. Managing a company’s accounts payable and receivable
  5. Sending bills and invoices to clients
  6. Tracking organization expenses
  7. Processing refunds
  8. Working with collection agencies on overdue payments
  9. Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments
  10. Carrying out Bank Reconciliation.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc in Accounting or HND in Accounting (Upper Credit)
  • 1 – 2 years post NYSC experience.
  • Adept computer skills and proficiency using programs like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced math skills to keep accurate records and supervise the bookkeeping of an organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact regularly with clients regarding sensitive topics like billing and payments
  • Excellent organization skills for maintaining clear, accurate and meticulous financial records for a company
  • Attention to detail for ensuring the accuracy of a company’s records and invoices
  • Multitasking in order to successfully handle multiple accounts, invoices and payments at various stages of execution
  • Excellent efficiency for handling any accounting issues quickly with minimal interference.

Salary
N70,000 – N90,000 / month.
