Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Job Description

  • Aid managerial planning and commercial decision-making tasks by providing appropriate financial information and undertaking related accounts administration.
  • Monitor all financial data and prepare accurate statements for the company.

Management Accounting:

  1. Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
  2. Undertaking financial administration and internal audits including that of sales and stock.
  3. Liaising with managerial staff, other colleagues and subordinates
  4. Developing and managing financial systems/policies
  5. Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
  6. Creating business strategies to generate shareholder value.

Financial Accounting:

  1. Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
  3. Forecast costs and revenues
  4. Manage tax payments
  5. Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
  6. Analyze financial trends
  7. Perform month-end and year-end close processes

Job Requirements

  1. Must hold a B.Sc or Higher National Diploma in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
  2. Must have previous experience of using sage software.
  3. Previous experience of working in similar role.

N80,000 – N100,000 monthly.
