Job Position: HR / Administrative Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • As the HR & Administrative Manager, you will provide oversight and guidance to the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, compensation, benefits, training and development; as well as oversee administrative functions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
  2. Responsible for personnel recruitment, new employee induction training, employee attendance, contract establishment
  3. Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay
  4. programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  5. Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  6. Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  7. Nurture a positive working environment
  8. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  9. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  10. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  11. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  12. Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
  13. Provide guidance on human resources policies and procedures; communicate company and government
  14. policies and regulations
  15. Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
  16. Manage schedules and deadlines
  17. Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
  18. Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
  19. Oversee facilities services and maintenance activities
  20. Organize and supervise other office activities (renovations, event planning etc.)
  21. Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations
  22. Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments

Job Requirements

  1. Proven working experience as HR/ Administrative Manager
  2. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  3. People oriented and results driven
  4. Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  5. Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  6. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  7. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  8. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
