Job Position: Administrative Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Ensure the office is stocked with necessary supplies and all equipment is properly maintained.
  2. Be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of office equipment, and property; arrange for repairs when necessary.
  3. Work with the finance team to set budgets, monitor spending, and other expenses.
  4. Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping.
  5. Perform regular inventory counts to ensure the company always has stock of its most needed items.
  6. Create a filing structure in the Administrative department to ensure all documents are up to date.
  7. Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  8. Organizing an archiving system.
  9. Labeling, sorting and categorizing documents for ease of use.
  10. Drafting inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
  11. Supervision of general cleanliness of the offices and premises (external and internal)
  12. Maintain a logbook on all company vehicles, repairs & functionality of vehicles.
  13. Coordinate procurement of office supplies/stationary.
  14. Organizing meetings, taking minutes.
  15. Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
  16. Arrange travels and accommodations
  17. Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Economics or any other discipline.
  • Professional certification in NIM or related discipline is an added advantage.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a reputable organization.
