Job Position: Android Engineer
Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos (Remote)
Job Description
- We are looking for driven passionate problem solvers and self-starters to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing applications for devices powered by the Android operating system.
- Due to the fragmentation of this ecosystem, you will pay special attention to the application’s compatibility with multiple versions of Android and device types.
Job Responsibilities
- Writing clean and efficient codes for Android applications.
- Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level.
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance.
- Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.
- Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Proven software development experience and Android skills development
- Proven working experience in Android app development and.
- Have published at least one original Android app.
- Experience with Android SDK.
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
