Job Description
Sales Management:

  1. Prospecting: Identify key merchants and target markets for POS sales, utilizing various sources such as online directories, industry events, and referrals. Develop sales plans and strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned area.
  2. Client Engagement: Initiate contact with potential clients, establish rapport, and schedule meetings or product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our POS system.
  3. Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ business operations, payment processes, and pain points to understand their specific requirements and challenges.
  4. Solution Presentation: Present our POS solution in a compelling and tailored manner, highlighting its features, functionality, and potential return on investment for the merchant.

Team Leadership:

  1. Train, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  2. Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  3. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and achieve sales goals
  4. Monitor sales performance and provide guidance and support to the sales team to meet their individual and team objectives.
  5. Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize sales effectiveness.

Relationship Building:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key merchants, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  2. Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional strategies and support marketing campaigns.
  3. Resolve merchants’ issues and complaints in a timely manner to maintain merchant satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations, demonstrating expertise, trustworthiness, and responsiveness.

Reporting and Analysis:

  1. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
  2. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
  3. Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales performance and achieve business objectives.

Negotiation and Closing on Key Merchants:

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contractual agreements to secure successful sales deals, ensuring mutual satisfaction and compliance with company policies.


  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and merchant support, to address client inquiries, provide technical expertise, and ensure smooth implementation of the POS system.

Territory Management:

  1. Analyze market trends, merchant needs, and competitors’ activities to identify business opportunities.
  2. Allocate sales territories and set sales targets for team members based on market potential and business objectives.
  3. Ensure effective coverage of the assigned area by monitoring sales activities and implementing territory management strategies..
