Job Position: Area Sales Representative

Job Location: Abuja

Job Responsibilities 

  1. Generate sales and ensure products delivery in the assigned Areas
  2. Regularly review with the Customers their performance in lines with agreed target.
  3. Develop Areas Business Plan for the region and the Customer Business plan for each Customer in the Areas.
  4. Develop New Sales opportunities within designated Areas.
  5. Proper liaison between customers with the relevant stakeholders (sales, finance, supply chain, and factory) to guarantee growth and Customer satisfaction.
  6. Manage the relevant documentation for delivery to Customers.

Key Performance Indicators / Key Figures 

  1. Achieve sales targets
  2. Number of new customers
  3. Frequency of orders
  4. Service level (speed of delivery)

Job Requirements
Simple Criteria:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in sales and business development functions – R
  • Perfect knowledge of Microsoft operating system especially Power-Point & Excel – R

Complex Criteria:
Previous / Professional Experience:

  • Relevant experience in sales and business development functions .

Professional Skills:

  1. Business and results oriented with proven negotiation skills – R
  2. Able to identify new sales opportunities (new customers, new segments) – R
  3. Understand needs of customers and provide solution lead – R
  4. Hard working, rigorous, well organized and able to work autonomously – R
  5. Ability to complete assigned task within a short period of time – R
  6. Analytic, accurate and quick interpretation of figures – D.
