Job Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Opening and closing the restaurant.
  2. Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.
  3. Scheduling shifts and assigning tables to waitstaff.
  4. Resolving customers’ questions and grievances in a professional manner.
  5. Conducting payroll activities in an accurate, timely manner.
  6. Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
  7. Purchasing new ingredients, kitchen utensils, and equipment as stock is damaged or depleted.
  8. Sourcing better deals on all resources and equipment that warrant replacing or replenishing.
  9. Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
  2. Prior experience using payroll software.
  3. Intermediate accounting and arithmetic skills.
  4. Strong leadership skills with an affinity for capacity development.
  5. Excellent conflict resolution abilities.
  6. Innovative, trustworthy, and impartial.
  7. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
