- Job Position: Backend Engineer
- Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Generate recyclable code libraries
- Implement ongoing security systems
- Attend regular meeting with the front-end team to expose weaknesses and problems
- Routinely inspect server code for speed optimization
- Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage
- Configure usability of all front side applications
- Maintain a stable server with zero downtime
- Keep a backup library before any large changes to the server
Skills
- An understanding of ES6 and Modern JavaScript patterns.
- Proficiency in Backend technologies (NodeJS preferred).
- Proficiency with Cloud technologies (GCP and AWS).
- Understanding and ability to implement CI/CD tools.
- Ability to write Tests with modern Testing Frameworks.
- A very good understanding of Test-Driven Development.
- The ability to collaborate and work with a forward-moving team.
