Job Description

  1. We are excited to announce an opening for a friendly and detail-oriented Business Analyst, specializing in Land Transportation, to join our team at Dangote Cement Plc.
  2. As a Business Analyst in the Land Transportation division, you will play a vital role in analyzing and optimizing our transportation operations to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  3. Your responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing data related to our land transportation activities, identifying areas for improvement, and providing data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance our transportation processes.
  4. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and IT, to gather information, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement in our land transportation operations.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collect and analyze data related to land transportation activities.
  2. Identify areas for improvement in transportation efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights.
  4. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize land transportation processes.
  5. Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transportation operations.
  6. Support the implementation of process improvements in land transportation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, Logistics).
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in land transportation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
