Job Position: Business Development Manager
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends in the clean energy sector.
- Analyze market data to develop strategies for entering new markets and expanding
- existing ones.
- Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with key stakeholders, including energy providers, government bodies, financial institutions, and technology partners.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint offerings and leverage their resources to drive mutual growth.
Lead Generation and Sales:
- Generate high-quality leads and convert them into new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and expand the customer base.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and provide insights for product and service improvements.
- Develop and implement strategies for expanding Instant Energy’s presence into new geographic regions and target markets.
- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities in line with the company’s objectives.
- Create compelling proposals and presentations to pitch our solutions to potential partners and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor offerings to meet specific market needs.
Networking and Industry Engagement:
- Represent Instant Energy at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Build a network of industry contacts to stay informed about market trends and opportunities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and market research.
