Job Position: Business Development Manager
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
- Monitor competitors and adjust strategies as needed.
- Develop new business opportunities by generating Deposit Liabilities and Fund Mobilization within the MSME and retail market.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Lead efforts to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.
Negotiation and Deal Closing:
- Lead negotiations with clients, partners, and stakeholders to secure favorable deals.
- Ensure contracts are effectively managed and executed.
- Identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with customers within the retail and MSME segment who need loans and advances to support their business.
- Initiate the development, launching, and sales of new product offerings
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Set sales targets and lead the business team to achieve revenue goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profitability.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development efforts.
- Prepare regular reports for Management on progress and achievements.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage the business development team, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Conduct regular training and skill development programs for team members.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure business development activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Mitigate risks associated with business expansion and client relationships.
Networking and Industry Engagement:
- Represent the institution at industry events, conferences, and seminars to enhance brand visibility.
- Build a strong network of contacts within the financial industry.
- Candidates should possess an MBA qualification with 5 – 12 years work experience.
