Job Description

  • We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to help us expand our client base. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
  • The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  2. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  3. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  4. Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  5. Prepare sales contracts ensuring regulatory compliance
  6. Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  7. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  8. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  9. Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople

Job Requirements
You are qualified for this role if you meet the following requirements:

  1. Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or a relevant role
  2. Proven sales track record
  3. Experience in customer support is a plus
  4. Proficiency in using cloud tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Asana, Zoho One, Freshdesk, and CRM software (e.g. HubSpot)
  5. Market knowledge
  6. Communication and negotiation skills
  7. Ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers
  8. Time management and planning skills
  9. Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  10. Excited about working in a tech startup making an impact in the African intercity mobility and logistics space

Up to N75,000 monthly.
