Job Position: Business Development Officer

Job Location: Abuja

Job Description

  1. We are requesting for applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of Business Development Officer at Focal Point Cleaners (a Laundry and Dry-cleaning Company) and Proactive Resources & General Consulting Services Nigeria Limited (a Education and Travel Tourism Company) all located in Abuja.
  2. We are looking to recruit a Business Development Officer (BDO)  to help drive our sales and grow the business.
  3. A background in sales or marketing is strongly desirable.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Familiarize yourself with the company’s vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
  2. Conducting market research and identifying potential clients.
  3. Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  4. Collating and maintaining client information in the database.
  5. Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies.
  6. Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
  7. Drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  9. Identify new business opportunities and partners.
  10. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences (Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field).
  • 3 years relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Friendly and personable demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Good research, planning and reporting skills are a must – as you’ll be reporting to higher management and even board level on a regular basis

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly
