Job Description

  1. Team Lead, Business Development is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business development strategies to heighten the company’s profitability.
  2. The job involves leading a team of business development and sales professionals, identifying business opportunities to pursue, and creating business proposals to support ideas.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Developing new products and services including detailed market strategies and pricing plans.
  2. Leading the change on market research plans to identify new opportunities.
  3. Working with executives to implement marketing strategies and new opportunities.
  4. Encouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving proposals.
  5. Ensuring that the company meets revenue targets.
  6. Developing and pitching ideas for potential investors
  7. Seeking out funding and investment for the business.
  8. Collaborating with the design and production teams to ensure that contracted product specifications are executed on time and as agreed.
  9. Becoming a subject matter expert on the company’s business products, processes and operations and remaining up to date
  10. on industry news.
  11. Preparing product pitches and making presentations to prospective clients and investors.
  12. Tracking expenses and maintaining the company budget.
  13. Analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.
  14. Overseeing the implementation of business development strategies to heighten the company profitability.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
  2. A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  4. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  5. Experience managing budgets and reviewing financial statements.


  1. Strong business knowledge and experience interpreting financial data.
  2. Ability to effectively research new markets.
  3. Creativity and problem-solving skills
  4. Analytical and detail-oriented
  5. Decision-making and leadership skills.
  6. Advanced time management and organizational skills
  7. A knowledge of the hospital environment is an added advantage though not required.
  8. Strong background in sales is an added advantage.
