Job Description

  1. The job of a business strategist is to develop functional strategies that reach business goals and improve profit for a company.
  2. The major responsibilities are to work with clients to understand their business goals, conduct research, analyze current data, review staff performance, and help an organization implement positive changes.
  3. A business strategist collaborates with multiple departments and should have a comprehensive understanding of the company as a whole.
  4. The Business strategist may also be tasked with communicating this strategy to other employees in their company.
  5. This helps ensure that everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goal.

Job Responsibilities
A business strategist typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

  1. Creating marketing strategies that incorporate branding, messaging, pricing, and distribution channels to achieve business goals
  2. Developing new business opportunities by researching industry trends, identifying potential markets, and analyzing customer needs
  3. To consistently demonstrate understanding of clients’ expectations through development of effective proposals and campaigns that aligns to the Agency’s overall content & creative services strategy
  4. To oversee assigned projects throughout its lifespan to ensure adherence to budget expectations and conclusion of each project with an impressive case study.
  5. To formulate effective communication and execution strategies for winnable and efficient campaigns that aids the achievement of clients’ business objective.
  6. Internal collaboration with the creative team to design internally-led brand products that can be archived and utilized retroactively.
  7. Collate & compile thorough on-brand case study reports for clients & for internal purposes.
  8. Developing operational plans to ensure efficient use of company resources while achieving business goals
  9. Developing and implementing a strategic plan that aligns with organizational goals
  10. Measuring the success of business strategies through metrics such as revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and employee retention rates
  11. Conducting market research to identify opportunities for growth within existing markets or identification of new markets to enter
  12. Identifying environmental factors that could impact the organization’s ability to achieve its goals, and recommending solutions to mitigate risk.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Minimum of 4 years proven experience in a reputable brand consulting/fin-tech, FMCG or Advertising company with proven experience in developing winning branded strategy content proposals/campaigns and client-facing communications.
  3. Relevant professional certification an added advantage.

N250,000 – N300,000 Monthly.
