Job Description

  1. Our client is seeking vibrate, goal-seeking individuals for the position of Marketer. The marketer is responsible to develop and foster business through proactive direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls, a tour of the residence, and digital marketing.
  2. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating marketing and promotional activities by developing programs to increase awareness and occupancy and ensure that the guest’s needs are met while working closely with other staff to ensure a unique guest experience is provided to each guest and guests are satisfied with the facilities.

The marketer’s Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting Market Research: Identify factors that shape the facility’s appeal to customers, and monitor customer reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses. Speak to guests in person or in follow-up calls. Review travel industry research to identify trends that could affect the industry as well as identify opportunities in which the company can excel.
  2. Maximize Customer Awareness: Create visibility for the company, ensuring the website and all other marketing channels are appealing and include up-to-date guest information. Working with in-house content developers on strategies for best content output and delivery to create more awareness.
  3. Promoting your facilities: Using relevant online channels and direct marketing to promote all residences. Promote all aspects of the business to increase occupancy and revenue. Discovery right approach to target more clients.
  4. Build Customer Relationships: To build a stable revenue base and ensure high levels of repeat business, you need to develop strong customer relationships. Target loyalty programs for individual guests or corporate customers who require regular accommodation services for large numbers of traveling staff or visiting customers.
  5. Liaison with Employees and Managers: As a marketer, you will be required to work closely with management and other members of staff to identify marketing priorities. Review future booking levels to plan dates for promotions to increase occupancy rates. Share the results of customer surveys and reviews with the customer service team to enhance standards of customer care.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for corporate and travel agent residence sales.
  2. A clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then set goals and determine action plans to meet these goals
  3. Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly
  4. Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales
  5. Represent hotels in various events and exhibitions.
  6. Implement all sales action plans related to the market areas as outlined in the marketing plan
  7. Conducts daily sales calls and arrange inspection trips to residence for corporate clients
  8. Able to provide Quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, and develop professional long-term business relationships.
  9. Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
  10. Participates in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  11. Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g. Generating proposals, Corporate Rate Application letters, writing contracts, and customer correspondence).
  12. Able to support hotels’ service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
  13. Develop strong relationships with on property team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
  14. Assess additional training needs based on data gathered and interaction with the sales team from property visits.
  15. Attending all department and hotel meetings as necessary.
  16. Targeting key accounts potential for the company.
  17. Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  18. Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities. (E.g. Influencers)
  19. Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients.
  20. Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree from an accredited University in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related major.
  • 3 to 4 years’ experience in sales and marketing or related professional area.
  • Proven success in a similar role and environment.
  • Empathy towards your customers and colleagues.
  • Pride and attention to detail.
  • Polished personal presentation with a warm, confident, and hospitable personality.
