Job Position: Chartered Accountant (Hospitality or FMCG Sector)

Job Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Description

  • We re looking to engage a versatile Chartered Accountant with prior experience in the hospitality or FMCG sector.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assisting management in the decision-making process by monitoring the budgets and financial forecasts.
  2. Coordinate the financial activities of the team across all subsidiaries
  3. Computing taxes and ensuring all remittances are made before deadlines
  4. Coordinating the weekly and monthly stock taking
  5. Examining financial records to check for accuracy
  6. Ensure the brand’s cash management and banking activities are efficiently carried out.
  7. Handling the stock reconciliation and inventory monitoring
  8. Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates for the brand.
  9. Perform general accounting activities including preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, capital expenditure schedules and the production of management reports for the brand.
  10. Generate monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting.

Reports Required:

  • Monthly P&L report
  • Monthly Stock Reconcilaition and Variance Report.
  • Others.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Banking & Finance.
  2. Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ICMA, ACA, etc).
  3. Minimum of 4 years experience in the hospitality or FMCG sector is a must
  4. Proficiency in Excel is a must, knowledge of i-class will be an added advantage.
  5. High Integrity, utmost confidentiality level.
  6. Detail-oriented with expert knowledge of (GAAP) accounting procedures and financial reporting practices.
  7. Working knowledge of i-class or any other accounting software is an advantage.

Salary
N350,000 – N450,000 Net Monthly.
