Job Position: ECP Civil Structural Engineer

Job Location: Rivers

Job Responsibilities

  1. Carry out preliminary, basic, and detailed engineering studies/in-house design for the Civil and Structural
  2. Engineering discipline for on/offshore projects.
  3. Supervise engineering and installation works performed by contractors for on/offshore projects.
  4. Interacts with third parties such as certifying bodies, Marine Warranty Surveyors, Regulators, etc. to assuring
  5. Civil/Structural deliverables.
  6. Quality Control and Assure Civil/Structural deliverables.
  7. Prepares Civil and Structural General Arrangement Drawings, Specifications, Material Take Of (Design Reports, and other relevant deliverables.
  8. Support Technical Evaluation of Civil/Structural Engineering Contractors/Vendors.
  9. Prepare Civil and Structural Engineering Scope of Work and Cost Estimating and support Call For Tenders (CFT).
  10. Interface with Procurement Dept., Survey and Geomatics, and Projects & Construction sections for resolution of
  11. Civil and Structural Engineering concerns.
  12. Review and ensure that Civil and Structural Engineering deliverables conform with relevant National Standards,
  13. Project Particular Specifications, TOTAL Rules/Specifications, and International Standards.
  14. Contribute to Safety Reviews such as Hazard Identification Studies {HAZID).
  15. Participate and contribute to Job Risk Assessments (JRA), Constructability reviews, and others as required.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. / B.Eng. (Structures) with 10 – 15 years of experience in an Engineering Organization in a similar design position.
  • Use of Autocad & proficiency in the use of SACS, STAADPro, NSO/ISYMOST (Fastrudl, Isymost) is a must.
  • Knowledge of AVEVA E3D and Micro station are as well able to prepare detailed structural drawings a plus.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards (British Standards, Eurocodes, ISO, API, DNV, etc.)
  • Good Communication in English and Interpersonal skills.
