Job Position: Corporate Services Manager

Job Location: Calabar, Cross River

Job Description

  • The corporate services manager is responsible for performing various functions, including providing high-level administrative support in various aspects of the organization’s operations.
  • They are primarily responsible for the business and service functions with a focus on consistency, quality, and compliance with firm policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for carrying out analysis on complex resource management issues and initiatives that concern the organization, and prepare associated reports, correspondence, and submissions to senior management
  2. Provide relevant information and support for the preparation of financial reports and budgets
  3. Direct, manage, and develop the capacity of administrative staff to guarantee smooth business operations and the provision of accurate and timely information
  4. Represent the organization on internal and external matters, including negotiations, conventions, seminars, public hearings, and forums
  5. Responsible for overseeing the formulation and implementation of plans, policies, and processes
  6. Responsible for conducting commercial activities as required
  7. Responsible for coordinating aspects related to hiring commercial and residential facilities, lease management, and rental payments
  8. Undertake measures to tone down business risks associated with physical security, real estate matters, and other risk areas concerning the business
  9. Carry out audit and inspection to assess risks associated with the business
  10. Responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive corporate security policy.

Job Requirements

  • First Degree in a relevant course
  • Professional certification may be an advantage
  • 3 – 5 years working in a large organization in a similar role
  • Experience in any area of corporate services i.e. vendor management, facilities, protocol, events, will be an advantage
  • Fluency in Hausa Language is compulsory
  • Understanding of facilities management and the building/construction industry.
  • Understanding of document storage requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Customer focused
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
  • Leadership and managerial abilities.
