Tomato Jos is a private equity-backed, fast-growing social enterprise located in Kaduna, Nigeria, that believes in the power of local production for local consumption. Our company aims to supply 10% of the processed tomato market in Nigeria within the next 5 years, sourcing tomatoes from smallholder farmers within our network and making high-quality branded consumer products for Nigeria and West Africa. We currently work with farmers in the Kaduna area, and we are building a tomato processing facility that was commissioned in 2021, enabling us to make value-add tomato products, including tomato paste and tomato mix.

Job Position: Customer Support Officer / Front Desk Officer

Location: Kaduna

Job Roles

  1. Greet guests and provide them with superb customer service.
  2. Ensure the reception is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and paper.
  3. Answer all client questions and incoming calls.
  4. Redirect phone calls to the appropriate department and takedown messages.
  5. Accept all letters and packages, and distribute them to their appropriate departments.
  6. Direct visitors to the appropriate person or office.
  7. Resolve and document customer complaints or refer to the appropriate office.
  8. Letting customers know about other products the company offers and passing leads to the sales team.
  9. Managing customer relationships to build a reputation for excellent service and generate repeat business.
  10. Carrying out customer satisfaction surveys and reviews.
  11. Direct or share with customers online resources, training guides, FAQs, etc that will benefit them on company or product knowledge.
  12. Create and maintain accurate reports about customer interactions and follow up on progress.
  13. Make recommendations to management to improve customer experience and organizational revenue.
  14. Make all company’s hotel and flight reservations
  15. Performing specific administrative tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 1 – 3 years work experience.
