Job Position: Media and Digital Marketing Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. You will support our marketing efforts using traditional, new media and digital tools.
  2. Creatively handle media buy and assets. Ensure proper utilization of various online marketing tools, like websites, Google, Meta platforms, podcasts, and blogs etc.
  3. Will work with different teams to coordinate our marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
  4. Ultimately, should be able to promote our company and increase client engagement and revenue.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop a cost-effective Media strategy.
  2. Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals.
  3. Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g., website, blogs, press releases and podcasts).
  4. Manage end-to-end digital projects.
  5. Establish our web presence to boost brand awareness.
  6. Maintain a strong online company voice through social media.
  7. Liaise with Mews and print media practitioners to create right narratives and ensure optimal exposure of the brand.
  8. Work with Sales and Product development teams to ensure brand consistency.
  9. Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability.
  10. Monitor ROI and KPIs on all media assets.
  11. Stay up to date with digital media developments.
  12. Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
  13. Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field.
  • Additional qualification in web design or animation is a plus.
  • 2 – 5 years’ relevant experience in a communications role.
  • Proven work experience as a Media specialist or Digital marketing manager.
  • Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Audacity or other media editing software.
  • Experience with visual communication principles and media buying.
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  2. Good time management and organizational skills.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.
  4. Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions.
  5. Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
  6. Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  7. Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
  8. Good understanding of social media KPIs.
  9. An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
  10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
