Job Description

  1. We are seeking an experienced General Business Sales Executive with a keen understanding of the Nigerian and Ghanaian markets, particularly within the oil and gas industry and/or public sector.
  2. This role involves driving software sales initiatives, managing existing relationships in our installed customer base, and overseeing business activities in both Nigeria and Ghana.
  3. As a Sales Executive, you represent a professional with mid-level experience, the ability to manage significant accounts, and possibly lead a sales team in the oil and gas and/or public sector.
  4. Your in-depth knowledge of the Nigerian and Ghanaian markets will be crucial to your success.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Drive sales and exceed targets within the assigned territories – Nigeria and Ghana, primarily for our oil and gas and/or public sector clients.
  2. Maintain and strengthen relationships with our installed base customers and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  3. Leverage deep industry understanding to provide software solutions tailored to the challenges of the oil and gas sector and/or public sector markets.
  4. Expand and manage a robust sales pipeline effectively.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
  6. Drive customer engagement through regular meetings, workshops and strategic forums.
  7. Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitive activity and emerging technologies within Nigeria and Ghana.
  8. Consistently enhance knowledge of products, services, and competitive offerings relevant to the oil and gas and/or public sector.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in software sales within the oil and gas industry and/or public sector in Nigeria and Ghana markets.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
  4. Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
  5. Significant knowledge of the oil and gas industry and/or public sector and an understanding of their technological needs and challenges.
  6. Willingness to travel extensively in Nigeria and Ghana.
  7. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  8. Existing networks in the Nigerian and Ghanaian oil and gas and/or public sector markets will be highly regarded.
