Job Position: Graduate Trainee Quality Control Officer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Maintain quality standards and recommend improvement for all stages of processing.
  2. Maintain accurate quality assurance records as directed.
  3. Ensure compliance with the company’s SOP.
  4. Responsible for maintaining and implementing GMP.
  5. Will be responsible for carrying out both microbial and biochemical analysis.
  6. Investigate complaints to determine causes, consult with appropriate production personnel to correct deficiencies.
  7. Oversee cleanliness and housekeeping of operation.
  8. Use, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and supervise as required.
  9. Ensure compliance to standards of all incoming and outgoing materials, ingredients and packaged products.
  10. Assist in development of new products and or line extenders as required.
  11. Ensure that all food safety standard are maintained.
  12. Conduct process and plant audit.
  13. Ensure compliance with government regulations.
  14. Ensure all labels, nutritional information and manufacturing data are correct.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or Food Science & Technology.
  2. Fresh graduate with 0-2 years’ experience in Quality Control/ Assurance.
  3. Knowledge of Food Safety and Food Quality is an added advantage.
  4. Candidate must reside within or around Ikeja axis
