Job Description

  1. The Growth and Expansion Manager at Wakanow will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth initiatives across diverse markets.
  2. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Growth, Integrations, Partnerships, and Expansion, this position requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, project management skills, and effective communication abilities.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct in-depth analysis of country performance across various channels, products, customer segments, and travel routes.
  2. Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies to optimize performance metrics.

Project Management:

  1. Undertake project management for various initiatives, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and execute projects effectively.

Stakeholder Communication:

  1. Communicate progress, milestones, and insights to key stakeholders within and outside the organization.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align growth strategies.

Market Research and Expansion Strategies:

  1. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for expansion in existing and new markets.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to enter new markets and enhance the company’s presence.

Collaboration and Partnerships:

  1. Work closely with the partnerships team to identify and establish strategic alliances.
  2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to foster relationships that contribute to business growth.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in growth and expansion roles within the travel industry.
  3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  4. Excellent project management capabilities, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures.
  6. Knowledge of the EMEA travel market is a significant advantage.
