Job Position: HR Manager

Job Location: Island, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Manage and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Develop financial strategies to support business objectives
  3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  4. Monitor and report on financial performance to senior management and stakeholders
  5. Develop and manage budgets and forecasts
  6. Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate financial risks
  7. Continuously improve financial processes and procedures
  8. Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts/reports.
  9. Implement and manage financial management policies in compliance with established internal controls and accounting practice standards, such as IFRS, IAS, etc.
  10. Ensure prompt reconciliation of all accounts with the banks.
  11. Ensure timely reporting and remittance of taxes and other statutory payments to the relevant tax authorities etc.
  12. Manage external relationships with regulatory authorities, such as Tax Authorities (LIRS and FIRS), and other third parties such as Auditors, Financial & Management Consultants, etc.
  13. Interpret financial information to senior management, recommending corrective actions.
  14. Support stakeholders with financial forecasts and models for monitoring various business performance indicators towards maintaining the financial health of the business.
  15. Analyze business performance compared to forecasts
  16. Review and evaluate cash flow, income and expenses to identify optimization opportunities
  17. Oversee the performance of the finance department
  18. Carry out risk assessments based on the financial health of the business
  19. Work with auditors to ensure regulatory compliance with timely production of statutory audits, filing with Corporate Affairs Commission as well as relevant tax authorities.
  20. Review, develop and maintain internal controlling processes
  21. Work with the other units to align the strategic plans of each business entity
  22. Oversee tax management and planning, as well as banking due diligence processes.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree qualification with 5 – 7 years work experience.
