Job Position: Human Resource & Admin Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with and support HR Management for the provision of services to the company;
  2. Assist in the work activities of department and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations, and employee relations;
  3. Maintains and updates records and statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals and absenteeism rates;
  4. Assist in identifying staff vacancies, recruiting, interview and selection of applicants;
  5. Implement workplace practices to ensure compliance with SOP’s/policy and provide recommendations for improvement to management;
  6. Assist in staffing controls including such as refereeing disputes and disciplinary processes;
  7. Control and maintain inventory for the department and other business units in the supply of stationery, water, refreshments and other general support supplies for different divisions.
  8. Assist with executive assistance including minute taking, appointments, travel arrangements, protocol management, booking of meeting/board room, typing services and filing;
  9. Maintain appropriate contact and develop good relations with subcontractors and other organizations that can influence and impact upon operation and service;
  10. Ensure all non-conformances are reported immediately to minimize the company’s risk;
  11. Produce reports and correspondence utilizing various business software if required;
  12. Gathers and records statistical information for reporting purposes;
  13. Other related duties as required and assigned by management.
  14. Assist in representing the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
  15. Any other responsibility that may be assigned by your line manager.

Education and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other relevant degrees
  2. Certifications in Human Resources and Personnel Management
  3. NYSC Certificate or exemption letter

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a human resource role with a large national/multi-national organization;
  • Experience in a high paced business environment delivering successful human resource support;
  • Experience in dealing with difficult situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.

Salary

  • N100,000 – N120,000 monthly.
