Job Position: Human Resources Generalist

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Human Resource Generalist will provide support to the HR Manager to oversee the day-to-day HR operations within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Support with the Recruitment, interviews, and onboarding of new hires upon resumption
  2. Conducts background screenings and checks on new hires and manage the employee confirmation process
  3. Assist with the administration of monthly salary, benefits administration, and leave administration.
  4. Ensure all statutory remittances are done timely.
  5. Assist with the administration of the Performance Management Process
  6. Assist with the implementation of the Talent Management process
  7. Manage disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations
  8. Maintain proper record management system
  9. Assist in the communication, interpretation, and adherence to HR policies while also contributing to policy development
  10. Generate relevant HR reports as may be required
  11. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices where applicable
  12. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field field required.
  • Relevant HR certification is added advantage

Working Experience:

  • At least 3 years of relevant HR experience.

  4. Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  7. Basic knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  9. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
