Job Position: Human Resources Manager

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • The Human Resource Manager will lead, direct and manage the day-to-day Human Resources and Administrative activities for the company.
  • He/She will provide oversight and guidance to the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, performance management, employee relations, benefits, training and development; as well as oversee administrative functions. In all, the Human Resource Manager will provide strategic guidance on Human Resource to the company.

Job Requirements

  1. BSc / BA in Human Resources Management or any other related discipline
  2. Master’s Degree / MBA in Human Resources or related discipline is an added advantage
  3. Requirement:
  4. Minimum of 10 years Experience in Human Resources with at least 5 years of which must be as a Human Resource department lead/head
  5. A qualified member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) or any other related professional body
  6. Experience in maritime/security industry will be an added advantage

Competencies / Abilities / Skills Required:

  1. Must be familiar with Nigeria Labour Laws and regulations governing Human Resources Practitioners in Nigeria
  2. Ability to work with other managers to assess complex issues pragmatically.
  3. Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations and make decisions.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  5. Ability to interact with and lead employees at various levels.
  6. Strong understanding of confidentiality as it relates to Human Resources.
  7. Ability to use Human Resource Software proficiently.
