Job Position: Human Resources Officer (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Agbara, Ogun

Job Responsibilities

  1. Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
  2. Orientating new employees and training existing employees.
  3. Monitoring employee performance.
  4. Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
  5. Overseeing the health and safety of all employees.
  6. Implementing systematic staff development procedures.
  7. Providing counseling on policies and procedures.
  8. Ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
  9. Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
  10. Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or any related discipline.
  2. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in human resources.
  3. Must have worked / working in a manufacturing company (preferably Pharmaceutical or Allied chemical).
  4. Must have worked / working in a unionized establishment.
  5. Must be able to use HR Software
  6. Additional training /certification in Payroll Management will be of great advantage
  7. Labor Relations certification will be an added advantage
  8. Experience as a Skills Development Facilitator will be an added advantage.
  9. Experienced in the area of Performance Management System (PMS).
  10. Must have an excellent communication and written skill
  11. Expected to be knowledgeable with employment legislation and possess strategic and commercial insight to the labor process.
  12. Must be able to negotiate with diplomacy.
  13. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  14. Should possess remarkable conflict management and decision-making skills to ensure employee
  15. Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
