Job Position: Human Resources and Administrative Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a skilled HR and Administrative Officer to deliver human resource solutions to the company. H/She will perform the under listed duties.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate the staffing processes as approved by the Management.
  2. Prepare, review and issue permanent employees appointment letters, fixed- term employees contractual engagement letters as well as award letters to contractors upon the Management’s approval
  3. Manage staff discipline and grievance matters
  4. Coordinate staff attendance, punctuality, leave and leave matters
  5. Coordinate the company’s performance management processes
  6. Develop, review and implement human resource policies and procedures among other policies and ensure that the policies comply with the relevant regulations
  7. Prepare human resources and administration budgets and expense reports
  8. Manage staff exit exercises in line with the Company’s policy/Management’s directives.
  9. Gather, analyze, interpret and report human resources data
  10. Design employee engagement initiatives
  11. Promote participative management practices in the organization
  12. Perform employee compensation, benefits and salary administration functions
  13. Be actively involved in employee welfare management programmes
  14. Co-ordinate staff training and development programmes
  15. Develop, review the company culture practices and programmes
  16. Design employee retention strategies and activities
  17. Handle all office administration duties
  18. Carry out the attached Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) duties as expected of you by NDPR

Job Requirements

  1. A minimum of First Degree certificate
  2. An HR certification (CIPM/SPHR/SHRM)is an added advantage
  3. Minimum of 2 years HR experience.
  4. In-depth knowledge of HR general and administrative functions
  5. Understanding of labor laws
  6. Proficient in MS Office
