Job Position: Internal Control Officer

Job Location: Idu, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  1. Ensure adequate compliance with established standards and internal control procedures
  2. Ensure on a weekly and monthly basis and in line with SOPs that warehouse stock confirmation at the branch level is done timely.
  3. Carry out continuous closing stock taking of all sales reps on a daily basis and report any irregularity discovered to the Senior Internal Control Officer.
  4. Ensure all the company asset in the branch is highly safeguarded and controlled and on a monthly basis.
  5. Ensure proper stock management is in place
  6. Cross checking and balancing cash register
  7. Review and ensure appropriate authorization of expense considering the necessity of the expense, quality of items to be purchased or service to be received, the fairness and integrity of the price, etc. prior to sending
  8. Working Days: Mondays to Fridays.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics or any other Social Science course
  • 0-1 year experience
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • Proficient use of computer, i.e. use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software.
