Job Position: IT Administrator

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and update operating systems and user applications.
  2. Monitor the network to ensure functionality and availability to all system users.
  3. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  4. Testing and evaluate new technology.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  2. Install and configure peripherals including scanners, external drives, monitors and other peripheral hardware.
  3. Talking to staff or clients to determine the nature of any problems encounter either face-to-face or via phone so as to resolve issues.
  4. Setup and support audio/visual equipment for presentations and trainings on and off site.
  5. Replace parts as required.
  6. Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
  7. Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a faulty or set up a system.
  8. Support the roll-out of new applications.
  9. Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
  10. Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.
  11. Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
  12. Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time.
  13. Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.

Job Requirements

  1. Preferred candidates must have an HND / B.Sc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, etc.
  2. IT certification is an added advantage.
  3. Minimum of 2 years and above from reputable Organization.
  4. Below 35 years.
