Job Position: IT Clerk

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description
Office Assistance:

  1. Assist team members in organizing files, scanning, making photocopies and scheduling meetings.
  2. Process Orders for Equipment: Source for Vendors, obtain invoices, and process requests.
  3. Collect/receive orders from vendors, distribute orders to centres and run other errands.
  4. Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support the IT Team.
  5. Record information in databases and generate documents/reports.
  6. Assist with configuring and connecting Peripheral equipment to computer systems.
  7. Provide basic equipment support across centres as needed including setup and

Cleaning:

  • Perform routine checks on CCTV Systems, Attendance Scanners, Walkie Talkies and other IT Gadgets.
  • Run daily website downtime tests and generate monthly reports.

Application Testing:

  1. Test and retest multiple web and mobile applications.
  2. Identify bugs, software defects and inconsistencies.
  3. Record bugs, glitches and other flaws identified during testing.
  4. Create and regularly update logs to document testing phases and defects.

Other:

  1. Record and log all interactions (queries, incidents, and resolutions) in relevant logs.
  2. Maintain a database of all equipment (Computers, Keyboards, Wireless Adapters, Routers, etc.).
  3. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of SSCE (Senior School Certificate) or equivalent.
  2. ND in a computer-related course is an added advantage.
  3. Skilled in the use of basic office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, etc.
  4. Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
  5. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of company information.
  6. Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment
  7. Capacity to manage high-stress situations.
  8. Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills (Spelling and composition).
  9. Attention to detail.
