Job Position: Junior Accountant

Job Location: Abuja

Position Summary

  • The junior accountant is responsible for performing a range of accounting duties to support the financial operations of a company.

Job Responsibilities

  1. The junior accountant must ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and that the accounting system is accurate and up-to-date.
  2. The junior accountant is responsible for managing the business unit accounts payable and receivable, which involves reviewing and processing invoices and payments.
  3. The junior accountant must prepare income statements.
  4. The junior accountant may assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, helping to develop and track the business unit financial plans and goals.
  5. The junior accountant may assist with audit preparation and provide support during external audits.
  6. Other duties as assigned: The junior accountant may be required to perform other duties as assigned by management, such as participating in special projects or initiatives.

Job Requirements

  1. A Degree in Accounting or a related field, as well as
  2. A strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Attention to detail
  4. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
  6. Excellent innovation and creativity skills

Salary Range
N60,000 – N70,000 / month.
