Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will be a strategist leader to steer the company to the most profitable direction while implementing its vision, mission and long-term goal.
  • Direct and oversees the activities of the company, responsible for the management of that entity’s resources as well the activities of the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
  • Researches and analyses industry, market, and competitors to make informed strategy decisions
  • Recognize central capabilities and illuminate operative objectives
  • Creates initiatives to take advantage of market opportunities, reduce operational threats, forestall business risks, and maximizes core strengths
  • Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
  • Assess costs and rewards against the budget for the long term
  • Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
  • Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times
  • Oversee the market changes and forces that influence the company
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. MBA, MSc is required
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as managing director or other managerial position
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
  • A high level of business awareness and acumen
  • Ability to encourage the team and maintain a positive work environment
  • Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
  • Excellent Leadership, communication and organizational skills.
