Job Description

  1. As a Media Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing media campaigns to promote and enhance the organization’s brand and image.
  2. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, media agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of key messages through various media channels.

Job Responsibilities
Media Planning and Strategy:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive media plans aligned with overall marketing and communication strategies.
  2. Analyze target audience behavior and media consumption patterns to optimize media placements.
  3. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in media landscapes to adapt strategies accordingly.

Media Buying and Negotiation:

  1. Negotiate and purchase advertising space and time across various media channels (TV, radio, print, online, social media, etc.).
  2. Optimize media budgets to achieve maximum reach and impact.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with media vendors and partners.

Campaign Management:

  1. Oversee the execution of media campaigns from conception to completion.
  2. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights.
  3. Make data-driven recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate with marketing, creative, and other teams to align media strategies with overall business objectives.
  2. Ensure consistency in messaging across all media platforms.

Budget Management:

  1. Develop and manage media budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  2. Track expenditures and reconcile budgets regularly.

Media Analytics:

  1. Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of media campaigns.
  2. Provide insights and recommendations based on performance metrics.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in media planning, buying, and campaign management.
  3. Strong understanding of media trends, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in using media planning and analytics tools.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  8. Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with media buying platforms and ad management tools.
  2. Knowledge of emerging trends in digital and social media marketing.
  3. Certifications in media planning or related areas.
