As one of the health care providers under the National Health Insurance Scheme, we provide secondary health care services in the area of Ophthalmology and Optometry, and currently have services provision agreement with some Health Maintenance Organization (HMO’s) listed below viz: Premier Medicaid International, Axa-Mansard HMO, Hygeia Health Maintenance Organization, Healthcare International Limited, Clearline International Limited, Ives Healthcare, Marina Medical Service Limited, Wellness HMO, Total Health Trust, Novo Health, Avon Health Care Services, Anchor HMO, Rodings HMO, Songhai Health Trust Limited, Havana Specialist Hospital, Avon Medical Services, and Mayriamville Medical Centre.

  • Job Position: Medical Records Officer
  • Job Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Registration and capturing of new patients detail in the Hospital/Patient’s database;
  • Ensuring regular update of patients information on Hospital/Patient’s database;
  • Retrieving and delivery of files through the hospital;
  • Design and development of filing system and archive maintenance;
  • Ensure the orderly arrangement of cards in the filling room and retrieval of patients card;
  • Ensure compliance with the National Health Management Information System (NHMIS) daily general attendance;
  • Ensure adequate supply of flyers, medical record card, next appointment card and consultation sheet in the filling room as well as the front office;
  • Ensuring regular update of patients information on Hospital/Patient’s database;

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite will be an added advantage;
  • Must submit both physical and electronic copy of their credentials;
  • Must be resident in Surulere or its environs.
