The Association of Corporate Treasurers of Nigeria (ACTN) was incorporated in August 2014, as an Association Limited by Guarantee (LTD/GTE) to foster the interests of Corporate Treasurers of the non-financial organizations by providing a platform for policy advocacy, discussions on issues of mutual interest, education and standard development of the corporate treasury function.

Job Description

  1. The Association of Corporate Treasurers of Nigeria (ACTN) is seeking a motivated and dedicated Nysc Corper Membership & Programmes Officer to oversee membership activities and coordinate various programs.
  2. The role requires a proactive individual capable of managing membership engagement and supporting the development of impactful programs for the association.

Job Responsibilities
Membership Engagement:

  1. Manage the association’s membership database, including new member registrations and renewals.
  2. Respond to membership inquiries, provide information about benefits, and assist with membership-related queries.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance member engagement and retention.

Program Coordination:

  1. Assist in planning and coordinating various programs, events, and initiatives organized by the association.
  2. Support the development and execution of educational programs, workshops, and networking events.

Communication and Outreach:

  1. Communicate with members through newsletters, emails, and other communication channels to share updates, events, and relevant information.
  2. Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to promote membership benefits and upcoming programs.

Administrative Support:

  1. Provide administrative support for membership-related tasks, including documentation, record-keeping, and reports.
  2. Coordinate logistics for events, including venue booking, participant registration, and materials preparation.

Collaboration and Networking:

  1. Foster relationships with existing members and seek opportunities for collaborations with industry partners.
  2. Represent the association at events and meetings to promote membership benefits and programs.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and communicate effectively with members.
  3. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office suite and membership management software.
  5. Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
