Job Position: NYSC Intern – Customer Service

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls
  2. Generate sales leads
  3. Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  4. Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  5. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  6. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  7. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  8. Go the extra mile to engage customers
  9. Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  10. Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information
  11. Conduct customer onboarding and assist with set up
  12. Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  13. Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
  14. Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
  15. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 0 – 2 years work experience.
  2. Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of people
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
