Job Position: Credit Operations Analyst

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for driven passionate problem solvers and self-starters to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the credit underwriting officer by driving communications with merchants, and following up with disbursals, and repayments.

Job Requirements

  1. Review loan requests
  2. Evaluate creditworthiness and risks, prior to underwriting
  3. Drive communications with internal teams and merchants at every point of the loan journey
  4. Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
  5. Maintain updated records of loan applications
  6. Follow up with clients about loan renewals
  7. Monitor progress of existing loans

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Experience and results as a Credit Support/Specialist or similar role
  3. Strong communication and presentation skills
  4. Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
  5. Perceptive and a fast learner: you’re able to quickly understand the technology that powers Traction Apps, and able to help customers achieve their goals, even if they’re unable to articulate those goals
  6. A positive, polite, confident, sincere, and friendly disposition
  7. The ability to solve problems and to think quickly on your feet
  8. Flexibility – we’re growing and evolving, and you’ll need to come along for the ride
