Job Title: Senior Manager, Operations

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

1. Primary lead on sales and marketing behind the company’s professional and data center services. Lead company’s technical operations, business development, general administration, business, and project planning.
2. Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to create smooth and efficient workflows; maintaining follow-through and timely action to ensure they meet deadlines, set forth by executive management
3. Manage relationships with various businesses to meet business goals.
4. Create targeted business development and marketing strategies.
5. Handle Government Relations and Corporate Affairs.
6. Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to executive mmanagement team.
7. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
8. Develop documentations, work flows, process flow to smooth operations if required.
9. Provide special project leadership and support as needed.
10. Establish best-practice methodologies based on metrics-based KPIs for incident/change/problem management in a 24×7, high-availability, critical production environment
11. Strong understanding of budgets and financials, and measuring business value with the ability to manage projects to budgets
12. Mentor, manage and motivate a high-performing team of managers and engineering professionals and set clear priorities to achieve department goals and KPIs
13. Manage oversight of complex network operations processes based on a combination of vendors, custom solutions, and internal resources.
14. Support adoption of new technologies and tools, and recommend capability improvements to network and security operations.
15. Analyze network from a cost, capacity, and forecast perspective, and evaluate new network operations technologies and applications.
16. Work closely with all departments to proactively ensure network operations capabilities are capable of handling emerging and future business requirements.
17. Ensure service-level targets are met, and address all service-level complaints.
18. Provide subject matter expertise in interactions with partners and customers, program manage collaboration projects externally and internally.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree is required. IT, Business IT, Network, Telecommunications
2. MBA would be plus.
3. Knowledge of Telecom/ISP business, related technologies, business planning.
4. Experience in Telecommunications or IT Professional Services would be preferred.
5. Motivated professional, organized, ability to write well, and have an effective time management.
6. Strong Leadership and Initiative Skill.
7. Proficient in MS office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
8. Excellent market communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
