Remediks Pharmacy is a retail and lifestyle pharmacy located at the SPAR Shopping mall in Lifecamp, Abuja. This is a new pharmacy, with a strong management team, that plans to rollout multiple stores across the country over the next 3 years. Job Position: Pharmacy Manager

Job Location: Abuja

Job Responsibilities
Dispensing Services:

  1. Filling and dispensing of prescriptions in accordance with the pharmacy code of ethics.
  2. Counselling and educating patients on how and when to take a prescribed medicine. This includes expected side effects and how to mitigate them.
  3. Checking for potentially dangerous drug interactions when patients are taking multiple medications and taking appropriate steps to ensure patient safety.
  4. Packaging & Labeling Drugs appropriately, as well as cross-checking all labelled drugs for accuracy
  5. Dispensing and controlling the use of poisons/controlled substances. Also ensuring that the right processes are always adhered to when dispensing controlled substances.

Clinical Services:

  1. Consulting with patients about appropriate medications for common ailments and making referrals to other healthcare professional where appropriate.
  2. Providing advice on healthy living, skin care and general wellness.
  3. Assisting patients with diagnostics (weight, BMI, B.P, sugar level etc) and keeping appropriate records.
  4. Managing patients in emergency by administering appropriate first aid procedure.
  5. Driving improved patient drug compliance
  6. Building trust with patients and becoming the community’s Go-To trusted health advisor.

Commercial Acumen:

  1. Ensuring the delivery of exceptional and memorable Customer Service at every interaction with patients.
  2. Developing, implementing and monetizing of Pharmacy Services and Health Promotion Programs
  3. Evaluating Sources for Supplies Based on Price, Quality and Service
  4. Supervising the Supply Chain of Medicines and other products.
  5. Carrying out periodic inventory cycle count
  6. Driving the overall revenue and profit growth of the store

People Management:

  1. Driving overall compliance to company PPPs by all employees
  2. Managing employee and customer feedback system
  3. Evaluating Subordinates and carrying out performance management
  4. Setting Quality Standards
  5. Monitoring Adherence to Quality Standards


  1. Organizing and educating patients on health topics, such as diet, exercise, and managing stress.
  2. Developing materials to help in the dissemination of health and wellness information to customers and the community.
  3. Training of Pharmacy Technicians and Health assistants
  4. Researching and Developing Health Promotion Literature for both educational and marketing purposes.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Pharm or M.Pharm qualification with 2 – 5 years work experience.
