Job Position: Procurement Officer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
  2. Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
  3. Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  4. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
  5. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  6. Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
  7. Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
  8. Manage minimum required stock.
  9. Manage suppliers’ contracts and fix price lists.
  10. Restocking at ordering level. Accordingly, the purchasing department’s purchases materials as per quantity and quality stated therein.
  11. Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure security of company’s and customers assets.
  12. Maintain up-to-date information concerning the Record details of complaints and actions taken.
  13. Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
  14. Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual stock taking exercise.
  15. Specialize, categorize and maintain the suppliers/vendors register in the system
  16. Ensure that suppliers/vendors assessment are conducted twice every year.
  17. Any other duties or responsibility maybe assigned to you

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of HND, BSc, B.Engr., Etc.
  • 3 – 5 years working experience in a facility management company with Engineer background.
