Job Description
- Our client Onward Paper Mill is a sustainable and innovative paper company in Lagos with a mission to provide high-quality materials and solutions- using sustainable technologies.
- Our client is currently looking for an experienced Production Manager in a Paper Mill factory to join their team as soon as possible.
Job Responsibilities
- The production manager must ensure that quality waste papers are sourced for production.
- He/She must ensure proper mixing ratios are followed at all times.
- He/She will work to see that batch codes are well recorded.
- Monitor and ensure quality is maintained from waste paper to finished products.
- Ensure that all matters are reported to the operations/mill manager promptly.
- Monitor and manage proper production records.
Job Requirements
Educational and Additional Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Paper Science, Chemical, Electrical or Industrial) field or comparable level of experience
- Experience as a process engineer, temporary supervisor, or comparable role, in a paper manufacturing facility, is a plus
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills.
Salary
Negotiable, based on experience on the job as a production manager in a Paper Mill.
Working day and hours:
8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday
