Job Position: Software Quality Assurance & Testing Intern / Assistant

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• We are looking for a Quality Assurance Intern who is passionate about the tech space, a natural leader who has an eye for details and is driven to ensure established standards of quality are met across teams in the organization.

Job Responsibilities

1. Undertake software testing & troubleshooting tasks
2. Draft & Update Quality Assurance policies & procedures
3. Interpret standards & procedures
4. Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of products to ensure quality
5. Collect, Compile Data on current Quality standards and analysis to identify areas for improvement
6. Investigate Client complaints and non-conformance issues across teams
7. Identify areas for improvement in the Quality System
8. Identify training needs/ interventions in the Quality system
9. Analysis of software and systems to mitigate risk and prevent software issues
10. Detect bugs/errors and track effectively using bug tracking tools such as Jira
11. Create test cases, test templates, and test plan documents.

Job Requirements

1. A Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Management Technology, Statistics, or any closely related field is required.
2. At least 1 year of experience in Testing Mobile Applications and Websites
3. Knowledge of Unit, functional, stress testing, etc, and automated testing
4. Knowledge of automated testing tools
5. The candidate must reside in Abuja
6. At least one year of experience in software testing.
7. Web data aggregation testing, Data analysis.
8. Knowledge of Python is a plus.
9. Knowledge of testing tools for various tests
10. Knowledge of new technology trends
11. Experience creating test plan/strategy
12. Ability to pay attention to details in finding bugs.
