Job Position: Quantity Surveyor

Job Location: Alapere – Ketu, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Carrying out feasibility studies
  2. Preparing plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
  3. Performing risk analysis evaluations
  4. Forecasting the cost of the different materials needed a the project
  5. Measuring and valuing the work done on site
  6. Making valuations and ensuring quality control of jobs done
  7. Arranging payments to suppliers and contractors
  8. Providing advice and forecasts about costs
  9. Attending project briefings where required
  10. Interfacing with the client on technical aspects of the job
  11. On-site monitoring /supervision of works/artisans and liaising with contractors to ensure timely delivery
  12. Participating in the physical creation of designs
  13. Following up to ensure deliverables are being created on schedule
  14. Maintaining adequate lateral and vertical communication with all staff associated with the project
  15. Taking ownership of projects from start to finish
  16. Ensuring communication and escalating all issues of relevance while giving daily reports
  17. Any other duties as may be given by management.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification in Quantity Survey
  • 1 – 2 years of work experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • Core Quantity Surveying measuring skills
  • Project Viability and Good interpersonal skills
  • Design skills knowledge of building and construction.
  • Relevant experience in similar job role is a must.

Salary
N60,000 – N70,000 Monthly.
